Frequently asked questions about RYUKA PRINT products, how to purchase, 3D printing, licensing, and sales of finished products.
About the Products
What is RYUKA PRINT?
It is a service that delivers the design of RYUKA BLOCK POT, born in Okinawa, not as a finished product but as 3D printing data. Purchasers themselves become the final creators and can manufacture as many as needed with a compatible 3D printer.
Will I receive a finished plant pot?
No. The products sold under the RYUKA PRINT STANDARD PLAN are digital data for 3D printing. Plant pots, pot saucers, plants, soil, filaments, and 3D printers are not included.
What is included with the product?
It includes two files (3D printing data / G-code) for the pot body and its dedicated saucer, specific to the model you chose. The data is prepared according to the specified printing conditions. The pot body and saucer are separate files. Please print both for use.
About 3D Printers and Printing
Do I need a 3D printer?
Yes. To manufacture digital products, a compatible 3D printer specified by RYUKA PRINT is required.
Which printers are compatible?
14 models from 4 manufacturers are compatible.
Bambu Lab A1 mini / A1 / P1P / P1S / P2S / A2L
Creality K1C / K2 Pro
Flashforge Adventurer 5M / Adventurer 5M Pro / AD5X (Adventurer 5X)
ELEGOO Centauri Carbon / Centauri Carbon 2 (Combo) / Neptune 4 Pro
Compatible models may be added or changed in the future. Please always check "Compatible Models and Printing Conditions" before purchasing.
Which models have been print-verified with your actual machines?
The distributed data undergoes preset inspection, full G-code safety inspection, outlier inspection, and checksum verification for all models. However, print verification with our actual machines is only conducted on the Bambu Lab A1 mini. The finish may vary depending on the adjustment status of your printer.
If I change the printer I use, do I need to re-purchase the product?
No. For the same purchased digital product, you can select a different compatible model from My Page and obtain data specific to that model. There is no additional cost.
What are the basic printing conditions?
The basic conditions are a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.20mm layer height, PLA or PLA Matte, and no support material. Please prioritize the instructions and specified conditions for each product.
Can I print with filament from other manufacturers?
Yes, you can print. However, it is strongly recommended to perform "Dynamic Flow Calibration".
The distributed data is created based on Bambu PLA Matte. Since filaments vary in melt properties by brand, not performing calibration may result in stringing or blobs (clumps of resin) in fine details. This is especially noticeable in the gyroid structure inside the pot, where the outer wall may be clean but the interior may be rough.
For Bambu Lab: Go to the top menu of Bambu Studio → "Calibration" → "Dynamic Flow Calibration" → select "Auto", and execute by specifying your filament, nozzle diameter, and plate. It completes in a few minutes, and the results are saved to the printer. You can also perform it by checking "Dynamic Flow Calibration" when sending the print.
For other manufacturers: The name may vary depending on the slicer. Adjust parameters such as "Pressure Advance" or "Linear Advance" to match your filament.
Calibration values are per spool. If you change to a different filament, perform it again.
How long does printing take?
The pot body takes approximately 5 hours 30 minutes to 24 hours 30 minutes depending on size and shape, and the pot saucer takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes (calculated values when sliced with Bambu Lab A1 mini). Larger sizes, equivalent to 5-gou, may exceed 20 hours, so please start with ample time. Estimated times for each product are listed on the product page.
The slicer shows "Floating regions detected." Is this a problem?
No, it is not a problem. This is due to the nature of the gyroid structure inside the pot, and the detected parts are extremely small, less than 0.1mm. Since they are less than a quarter of the nozzle diameter, they do not become independent objects and are absorbed by adjacent lines. In actual print verification, no defects in the film or pattern have occurred.
Which versions of Bambu Studio can open the files?
We have confirmed that files for the 6 Bambu Lab models open as pre-sliced data in Bambu Studio 2.7 and 2.8 (2.8.2). When you open a file, the preview screen appears and you can start printing right away without re-slicing. Sending via Bambu Connect is also supported.
We will check new versions as they are released.
The "Print plate" button in Bambu Studio is grayed out.
If you press the "Sync info" button after opening a file, Bambu Studio loads the filament and nozzle information from your printer. Because the settings change, Bambu Studio discards the sliced result. The preview disappears and the "Print plate" button can no longer be pressed. This is not a problem with the file.
How to fix: Close Bambu Studio without saving, then open the downloaded file again. It will return to its original pre-sliced state.
After opening a file, do not press "Sync info" — press "Print plate" as is. Changing settings or re-slicing moves the print away from the specified conditions and is not covered by support.
Can I re-slice or modify the G-code?
To maintain quality and safety, please use the specified 3D printing data (G-code) for each model as is. Changing settings, re-slicing, and using non-compatible models are not supported.
About Purchase and Data
How do I receive the data after purchase?
An invitation to your My Page will be included in the order confirmation email sent after payment is confirmed. Click the button in the email to open My Page and enter the following two items:
• Order number (found in the order confirmation email. Example: #1001)

Can I download the data multiple times?
Yes. You can download it as many times as you like from My Page. You can also re-select a model and get data for a different compatible model.
Is there an expiration date for the STANDARD PLAN?
There is no expiration date for the right to use purchased digital products. However, the service delivery method, compatible models, and download methods may change due to operational or technical reasons.
Can I give the purchased data to others?
No. Resale, distribution, sharing, transfer, public display, and provision of the data itself to third parties are prohibited. Do not upload it to cloud storage, social media, or other platforms.
About Selling Finished Products
Can I sell the printed finished products?
Yes. Under the RYUKA PRINT STANDARD PLAN, you can sell finished products printed from the specified 3D printing data (G-code) of your purchased digital product. Only finished products can be sold; selling or distributing the data itself is not allowed.
Can I start this as a side business?
Yes. Since you can print as many as needed from the purchased product, you can start small as a side business without the need for large finished product inventory. However, sales and profits are not guaranteed. Compliance with local laws, tax regulations, display obligations, and customer service in the sales region is the responsibility of the seller.
Can I sell patterns or sizes that I haven't purchased?
No. The right to sell finished products is limited to products you have purchased. If you wish to sell different patterns, shapes, or sizes, please purchase the corresponding digital product.
